Try Viability for one month and you won't know how you did business without it. 

Your trial is more than just a try-before-you-buy. We want you to have access to the most powerful profit building tool on the market and understand what it can really do for your business. A customer success pro from our office in Adelaide, Australia will help you set up your site from beginning to end. They'll personally walk you through everything from integration to rostering and data interpretation, so you'll have everything you need to grow profit with Viability.

Week 1

|   Connect

Link your Viability to your POS and accounting to find the missing link in your business.

Meeting time: 1 hour

Online time: 1 hour

Total time to complete: 2 hours

Your first hour with one of our customer success pros is going to be the perfect opportunity to get you set up for success and ensure you understand the ins and outs of the system. 

We'll cover: 

  • General site set up - your venue timezone, your 

  • Integration with POS - depending on your chosen POS, we'll either walk you through instant connection or give you a clear understanding of the steps to integrate.

  • Integration with accounting - Xero and MYOB users can connect their accounting to Viability on-the-spot.

  • Setting up users & permissions - we'll make sure your team see what they need to see in the system, and no one sees anything they don't need to see.

  • Sync your team members & rates -  some Xero and MYOB users will be able to import their team and payroll details instantly. 

  • Learn how to set up your rates in your accounting package to be compatible with software like Viability. 

  • If your rates are synced, you'll also start building a roster in this session.

Please make sure you know your POS and Accounting package login credentials for a super smooth set up. We will never ask for these details or store them. You perform the simple integration yourself to keep your data secure.


Week 2

|   Roster

Learn how to get the most out of Viability's unique rostering tools

Meeting time: 1 hour

Online time: 1-2 hours

Total time to complete: 2-3 hours

Your second hour with your customer success pro will give you the knowledge you need to introduce Viability to your team and use the powerful roster improvement tools to start making small changes in your roster. 


We'll cover: 

  • The different paths to better rosters - Roster Builder, Heat Map, Grid View and Templates

  • Productivity measures - how Viability measures productivity and how you can use it to boost your teams performance and provide better service to your customers

  • How teams can use Viability to work more efficiently

  • Setting up your team to use the app 

  • Using the Viability Time Tracker sign in portal, if you're tracking work hours through Viability

  • How to streamline payroll with Viability and your accounting package

Week 3

|   Orders

Decide which Viability ordering method is best for your business, then get it set up

Meeting time: not required

Online time: 1-2 hours

Total time to complete: 1-2 hours

Use our online resources to get your ordering budget tighter and give your team the tools they need to meet budget every week. 

Using our online tools and with the support of your customer success rep, you'll get your ordering portal set up and start making or recording your first orders through the system. 

You'll cover:

  • Supplier set up

  • Streamlined product entry 

  • Making and sending an order

  • Order verification and delivery checks

  • How to use Viability to 

  • Options to easily manage real-time budgets without making orders through Viability 

  • Par level set up and automatic re-stock

  • Managing your GP with Viability

Week 4

|   Growth

Learn more about the advanced features that will help your business thrive.

Viability is packed with data, because making data-driven decisions can take your business from surviving to thriving. We've been in hospo long enough to know all the answers you need are in the data. It's just a matter of capturing the data in the moment, and knowing where to find the answers you need. 

We've crammed in as many data sets and tools as we can. Using our online tools, you'll learn about:

  • Productivity data. How we capture it, what it means, what other people are doing, and how you can change it. 

  • Advanced rostering tools that help you create the best rosters possible in your business.

  • How our machine learning algorithm works to forecast revenue better so you get the information you need, when you need it. 



I'd rather test the software alone. Can I skip the training? While you can technically skip the free onboarding sessions, we strongly recommend that you make use of them - they're only free during your first month, including the trial period, so we encourage all our customers to take advantage of this uniquely high level of one-on-one support.

I'm an over-achiever and want to complete all the training in one week. Just like skipping training altogether, technically you can cram all your learning into one or two weeks. Discuss this with your customer success pro and they'll set up a plan that works best for your goals.

Can I skip one lesson or change the order of the lessons? Our onboarding training has been carefully curated to make sure you get the best knowledge in the shortest time committment possible. Your training needs will dictate whether you're able to skip any of the training sessions - talk to your customer success pro. We'll always try to work with your needs where possible.

I just want to use rostering - do I have to do all the training? You won't need to do any training with orders, and you may also elect to skip the final week online training. However, we do encourage you to meet with your customer success pro at least twice to learn about setting up and working with your new rosters, and ensuring your team is comfortable using the system.

Why do you offer so much training? Is Viability really complicated to use? Absolutely not! We offer the highest level of support possible, because just like your business, your Viability platform will run more smoothly and grow more quickly with really solid foundations. Just like you wouldn't open the doors to your venue before you were happy with your fitout and your team's knowledge of how to prepare your menu, we believe that becoming confident using the software early on - and knowing what you're doing - will set you up for success!

What if I need extra training later on? You can always call our customer success team for a little help here and there. When it comes to training for specific features, our online resources are designed to ensure you've got all the info you need. If you need the help of one of our customer success pros for an in-depth training, we offer 30 or 60 minute trainings at a fair price. We want you to succeed, and we're here to set you up for success.
